Born and bred in the township of Clermont, Kwadabeka D in Kwa-Zulu-Natal, Durban. Hlengiwe Sabela who is also known as Ntokozo hails from this historic township. She is a dynamic woman who carries many admirable traits, as a mom and wife she is now based in New Germany, where she resides with her family.

She attended Pinetown Girls High School and later persuaded tertiary studies in Retail Business Management and Packaging. Amongst the many hats she wears, Hlengiwe is an Account Executive as a Packaging Specialist and owns a fitness apparel brand called YWG, she describes it as an exciting passion that is a reflection of her entrepreneurial spirit.

Her recent venture and leap of faith was taking a bold step of being part of the highly respected national pageant for married women, Mrs South Africa. This was simply inspired by a desire to complete her dream and now carries the proud title of Mrs South Africa Semi-Finalist 2022 with hopes to advance far in the journey.

Hlengiwe strongly lives by the encouraging words of “Be your cheerleader, hype man and love yourself!”. She also describes herself as an individual who is highly rooted in faith and her role at church as a Sunday school teacher is proud evidence that she regards as an absolute blessing.
