On 7 April 2021, Icebolethu Group hosted yet another successful live session hosted by Alex Mthiyane and joined by the GCEO, Nomfundo Mcoyi, and our newly appointed Risk Manager, Sanelisiwe Mkhize. The live session was broadcast on the Icebolethu Facebook page as well as on YouTube. The topic of discussion was centered around the company going cashless in March and addressing feedback received over the first month of the cashless system within Icebolethu branches. Icebolethu clients were invited to participate in this discussion to state areas where they needed clarity.
The session was successful in that the GCEO was able to engage with clients on the cashless system and clarify any confusion clients might have had. Icebolethu Group continues to push the envelope as a means to excel in customer services while keeping up with the era of technology hence initiatives such as going cashless observe modern industry standards.
The second segment of this live session involved the whistleblowers’ launch which is in partnership with Deloitte and is headed by the Risk Manager, Sanelisiwe Mkhize. Sanelisiwe stated that the sole purpose of the whistleblowers’ platform was to ensure Icebolethu Group conducted healthy business practices with honesty and integrity. This platform will enable all stakeholders, but most specifically everyone who is employed by Icebolethu Group to report anonymously on dishonest colleagues.
Icebolethu Fraud and Ethics Line involves the professional services from Deloitte and is therefore totally independent of Icebolethu Group. No one will therefore ever know who reported the fraud or dishonest and inappropriate behaviour.
At Icebolethu Group, we are committed to creating knowledge-sharing platforms for our clients as we believe they are at the center of our organisation.
