This year the foundation hosted its second Fundraiser a dinner on the 30th July 2018 at the Durban Exhibition Centre. It was attended by the likes of Vivian Reddy Chairperson of Edison Power Group who donated R1,5 million rands towards the foundation. He commended Icebolethu Foundation for the remarkable work that they do for the community.
Mr. Vivian Reddy also took a moment to commend the CEO of Icebolethu Group Nomfundo Mcoyi for the heart she has for the people and how dedicated she is to make this world a better place. The guest speaker Mr. Letshego Mokeki from Department of Higher Education also spoke highly about the importance of career guidance.
The event was very impactful which led to different companies and individuals who attended the fundraiser to donate and pledge towards the foundation. The 2018 100 Scarce Skills was proudly sponsored by Icebolethu Funerals, the Ethekwini Municipality, Gear House and other sponsors.
