A changing world means that professional development needs to be constantly pursued and prioritized, and this is exactly what this initiative speaks to.
The Icebolethu Learnership Programme is aligned with the Group’s development goals and ultimately serves as a model to intentionally identify the skills that the employee requires, and strategically providing methods that they can go about acquiring them. It is designed to allow periodic learner intakes to allow fair opportunities across the diverse and extensive workforce of over 1400 existing employees. The opportunities are available to all staff across the board, considering their personal and professional needs.
As an extension to this strategy, Icebolethu Group recognizes the importance of instilling confidence in its employees. Confidence in their abilities to make meaningful contributions in their specific roles, the business, industry, and ultimately in society as a whole.
