We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Desktop Technician to provide technical support for desktop systems, hardware, and software. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about IT and eager to grow their technical expertise in a supportive environment.
Minimum Qualifications.
• Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or related field (added advantage).
• Certification in ICT-related studies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or equivalent).
Experience and Knowledge required.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and software applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Assist with network connectivity issues and basic network troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update IT inventory and documentation.
• Support end-users with technical queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or IT management.
• Adhere to company IT policies and procedures, including data security protocols.
