Icebolethu Group is looking for a competent incumbent for the Human Resources Business
Partner to provide operational and advisory Human Resource support embedded within a
designated business unit by partnering with leadership to implement people strategies
aligned with Group HR priorities and business objectives. This role focuses on talent
management, employee relations, and HR process execution to enable effective business
performance.
Minimum Qualifications
• Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications on any
related field.
• Sage Certification – Advantageous
• Postgraduate qualification and/or SABPP Chartered status (advantageous)
Experience:
• Minimum 5-10 years in a generalist HR role
• Strong experience in multi-disciplinary business environments
• Demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Sage 300 People)

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in anticipating talent needs in the business unit.
• Monitor and reduce voluntary and involuntary exits
• Provide leadership with root causes and solution
• Ensure timeous, fair, and effective hiring
• Deliver fit-for-purpose hiring plans
• Ensure smooth onboarding experience
• Manage cases fairly and consistently
• Minimise legal exposure at CCMA
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify improvement areas
• Collaborate with Risk and Audit teams to address HR risks
• Efficient handling of HR back-office functions including documentation, payroll and
compliance
• Provide leadership with value-adding HR support
• Conduct regular feedback mechanisms
• Promote mental, physical, and financial wellness
• Coordinate wellness programs in partnership with EAP and HSE teams
• Embed values and recognition in daily culture
• Enhance employee morale and connection
• Drive performance management processes in respective business unit.
• Manage performance gaps and risks
• Prepare and conduct HR Refreshers on processes etc
