Icebolethu Group, South Africa's second largest Funeral Assurance Group providing a centre of excellence and a leading provider of dignified burial solutions has a vacancy for a Regional Manager in eThekwini.

Responsibilities

• Management and Oversight of:
▪ Statutory obligations of the FSP;
▪ Rendering of financial services of the FSP and persons authorised to act on its behalf;
▪ Business processes and operational ability.
▪ Instil a culture of treating customers fairly in all aspects of the business
• Ensure compliance by all authorised persons with the General Code of Conduct and any other applicable Codes of Conduct, which duty should not be taken lightly.
• Ongoing compliance with the fit and proper requirements. A process should be implemented to check in on a regular basis with Reps/ Brach Supervisors/Consultants to make sure that they are on track or have already met the requirements. Area Managersneed to know the status of those acting for the FSP including their honesty and integrity.
• Oversight of training, knowledge and skill of the Area Managers, BranchSupervisors and Consultants rests with the Regional Manager.
• Monitoring the activities of Field Agents, and Consultants appointed under supervision. There is greater risk where advice is being given by Field Agents, Branch Supervisors, and Consultants under supervision
• Monitor and participate in Burial functions or functions.
• Work closely with the Burial Unit Head.
• Drive sales levels at Boxer kiosks,branches, and on the field.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• 2 -5 yrs years’ experience in Financial services
• 2-3 experience in junior Management position.
• Business Management, Marketing, or related tertiary qualification
• Clear ITC
• Clear criminal record
• Own reliable transport and cell phone
• RE–5 or RE-1 Qualification will be an advantage

Experience required for the position:

• Grade 12
