Icebolethu Group is currently in search of a Permanent Graphic Designer within the Marketing Department, a Division of Icebolethu Group to be based in the Durban branch. The successful incumbents will be required to ensure creation of visually stunning and effective design s that communicate our brand’s message and values.
Minimum Qualifications.
● Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design / Visual communications or related field
● Minimum 3 years work experience
● A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
● Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Experience and Knowledge required.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in graphic designing
• Knowledge of branding Identity Design
• Familiarity with Project Management tools

Responsibilities:
● Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements
● Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software
● Testing graphics across various media
● Study design briefs and determine requirements
● Schedule projects● Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
● Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
● Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
● Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
● Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
● Test graphics across various media
● Amend designs after feedback
● Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
● Be familiar with digital design requirements - social media, newsletters, etc.
