Birthed from a Facebook post that the Foundation manager, Zama Mazibuko saw, this was the beginning of something beautiful. Icebolethu Foundation came across a very inspiring story of Thuli Ndaba, a young woman from Northern KwaZulu Natal, Nongoma, who invested her capital to start crop farming. Her business had been experiencing setbacks due to water shortage before she approached the Icebolethu Foundation.
On the 9th of October, the foundation visited the Uitval community to handover water tanks to 10 selected co-operatives in the crop farming sector. With these water tanks, the Uitval community stands to greatly benefit and continue to grow and create opportunities in the farming sector.
The foundation is dedicated to focusing on and driving community development projects that will contribute to developing one community at a time.
