HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner provides human capital advice and support to Business Leadership and their respective teams (staff).

The ideal candidate must be a level handed individual who can identify, mitigate, and where also needed assist with conflict resolutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Advising, coaching, and supporting line managers and staff on full range of HR function services, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, job evaluation, remuneration and benefits, induction, training and development, employee wellness, organization design, job profiling, etc.
  • Delivery on staffing resourcing by ensuring high quality employees` for the business.
  • Implementation of the full performance management cycle in the business.
  • Driving the values and creation of a great working environment at business level.
  • Help identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes for business growth and success.
  • Implement HR policies, procedures, systems, and processes at business level.
  • Handle employee relations /dispute resolution in areas of responsibilities, including CCMA/ Labour Court matters.
  • Execute all HR processes in the employment and business cycle, in line with policy and legislation – recruitment, psychometric assessments, induction, learning and development, workforce planning, talent retention and rewards, etc.
  • Support management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy and plans.
  • Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda.
  • HR reporting.
  • Identify and implement change interventions
  • Administer skills audit processes to identify the skills needs of the organization and report on them.

 

The following minimum requirements should be met to be considered:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/ Human Sciences/ Organizational or Industrial Psychology or other related degree qualification.
  • Registration with Professional Board for People Practice (SABP) is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ HR management experience, preferably in corporate and or manufacturing environment.
  • Business acumen
  • Systems and process thinking.
  • Strong problem and analytical skills as ability to analyze and interpret statistical DATA and HR Analytics is critical.
  • Must have Integrity.

  • Prioritization and resources allocation
  • Strategic and operational management skills.
  • Project management and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of related labour laws and legislation.
