The General Manager: Human Resources Business Partnering provides strategic and operational HR support and advice to the supported Businesses by being instrumental in facilitating and implementing end-to end HR service to ensure attraction, development and retention of Icebolethu Group talent.
Responsibilities:
- Working in collaboration with a senior business leader and HR team to develop and grow a scalable organization model that supports and delivers against the long-term growth strategy of the business.
- Support, provide insight to and partner with HR Centres of Excellence to develop and drive:
- Talent acquisition strategy
- The talent management strategy
- The remuneration and benefits strategy.
- Drive the development and use of analytics across all customer groups to support data-driven business decision-making and outcomes.
- Ensure that group-wide HR policies and procedures are implemented in an appropriate way for the business and in line with best practice and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Manage the balance between strategic elements of the role, driving operational excellence, and in execution to ensure strong overall delivery.
- Manage the workforce planning process.
- Provides mentorship and coaching to developing HR Business Partners, SHE Officer, and Occupational Health Nurse – Employee Assistance Practitioner (EAP).
- Ensure 100% maintenance of organograms and job profiles.
- Facilitate the induction and effective placement of new talent.
- Drive the implementation of performance management.
- Implement Icebolethu Group`s succession planning.
- Drive the process of identification, analysis of learning and development needs and contributing to the development of the Company`s Workplace skills Plan and Annual Training Reports.
- Co-ordinate and implement all approved change, organizational development, employee relations, culture alignment interventions.
- Provide inputs in the development, submission and reporting on Employment Equity and Transformation Reports.
- Generate and report monthly/ quarterly and annually or as and when necessary.
The following minimum requirements should be met to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/ Human Sciences/ Organizational or Industrial Psychology or other related degree qualification.
- Registration with Professional Board for People Practice (SABP) is preferred
- Minimum of Ten (10) years’ HR management experience and seven (7) years of which at senior generalist human resources management level, preferably in corporate and or manufacturing environment.
